Our Home - KGV Oval
KGV Oval, located in the centre of Glenorchy, has been the home of the Magpies since merging with New Town Football Club in 1957. Our precinct has been the home for not only our club, but other sporting clubs and local businesses for many years. Our oval is where all of our Senior Magpies train and play their home games, it’s also home to all of our 350+ Junior Magpies. KGV home games are a perfect way to reward and entertain your staff and corporate partners. We offer private spaces for you to enjoy the day with your staff, customers and clients. As a partner of our club your business can utilise all the benefits that our KGV facilities.
Our Boardroom offers professional corporate spaces for important meetings and our Magpie room is ideal for small to medium corporate training sessions. All training rooms are all fully equipped with up-to-date WIFI and AV options. Our Jack Rough function centre is perfect for weddings, end of year work celebrations, school leavers dinners, Christmas events and birthday celebrations. With a full private bar, dance floor and dividable room, the space is perfect for all celebrations with live music or DJ space for anywhere between 30 to 300 guests. We also offer extensive and varied menus to suit all budgets and events. Our club also have a fully licensed bar where the locals come to wind down, socialise and relax. So, whatever your needs, KGV Oval is the perfect local venue to support your business.

A great opportunity to sponsor a prize voucher of $400 for the last GDFC Bingo session of each month at KGV Oval. GDFC hosts two Bingo sessions per week all year round that are attended by over 100 players each session. GDFC also host 4 major sessions at the Wrest Point Casino with over 300 players.
