Membership Drive In 25’

Get the word out here! Use your club, enjoy your membership and the privileges we get from it.  To attract new members, we have:

• Extended the membership categories to allow families to join, so the whole family can what the club offers while their children play.
• Become a Gold Member and get 10% off all club Merchandise, Food and Drink purchases – Gold membership is available to families and to Life Members
• We are re-launching the downstairs Bar as the ‘Magpies Bar n Grill’ in early 2025. Meals and hearty pub food will be available once again.  
• Most importantly, the downstairs foyer will become the Glenorchy “Magpies Nest” Room. Our club has made an amazing contribution to Australian Football reaching right back to the beginning. Roy Cazaly and many player icons of our code hail from our club. It is time we celebrated our past and present players. The foyer will proudly display our club memorabilia and become the beating heart that is a physical home to the fabric and soul of our mighty club.

We urge you to stand up and be counted as a member now. Reach out to your family & friends, many of whom were former members and urge them to join again and celebrate our re-emergence in 2025.

New Magpies Bar With Meals - Now Open

The Downstairs Bar is about to re-launch as the MAGPIES BAR & GRILL. Good Pub fare is now on offer and those with Gold and Platinum membership will enjoy a 10% discount across all meals and drinks.

It is time our players and their families can enjoy a decent meal after training or the game. Situated close to the stadium and the ground, the Magpies Bar n Grill is a great place to enjoy a match with friends or family.  Come and feel the Magpies spirit as you enter at the main entrance and walk through the Beating Heart Room before opening into the bar and finally the ground and stadium. 

This will be a fantastic entry to our home games and do our club proud. We want to promote the Magpies Bar n Grill to members and the public, so give it a try, spread the word!

New Magpies Nest Room

We are going to build our mighty club, a physical room, and the heart of the club. It celebrates all that our club has achieved from its roots reaching back to the 1880’s, one of the oldest Australian Rules Football Clubs. It's time our members re-acquainted themselves with our great and fabulous heritage. We need to celebrate our players, past, present and future juniors.  What better place to put it than in the foyer to the main entrance.

The ‘Magpies Nest’ as it will be called, will tell the story of our people and our successes and hard times over the years. It will also have a Merchandise display and eventually a reception counter staffed full time. The Magpies Nest is a physical expression of the cultural fabric that has bonded our club to greater and greater strength over the years.

We hope the Magpies Nest will be formally launched along with the Magpies Bar n Grill just before season starts in 2025.
