U18 Women's Coach for Season 2026
As part of the exciting expansion of our Women’s Program, Glenorchy District Football Club is proud to announce the formation of a Premier League U18 Women’s Team for the 2026 football season.
With a senior program that has developed 3 AFLW and 4 VFLW players in recent years, our club is committed to fostering emerging talent and providing a clear development pathway within a supportive and empowering environment.
To ensure the success and growth of our new U18 Women’s Team, we are now inviting Expressions of Interest for the role of U18 Women’s Coach.
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and suitably qualified Coach to lead and develop this exciting new team. The right person will share our vision of creating a thriving, inclusive, and supportive culture for young female athletes.
Desirable Attributes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Actively fosters an inclusive and respectful environment for all women and girls at our club
- Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Encourages the development of female athletes both on and off the field
- Promotes a growth-focused coaching environment that attracts and retains talent
- Advocates for the advancement of women’s football and equitable access to resources
- Holds a minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation, with a genuine commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
