About The Glenorchy District Football Club

The Glenorchy District Football Club is an Australian Rules Football Club and includes Men, Women, and Junior Teams.

For over a hundred years, we have seen a lot of success on the field, but our main success is our Community - members, players, officials, volunteers, supporters and the broader local community.

Our club has a mighty and proud heritage in Tasmanian, and National Football.

In 2025 we plan to rebuild the profile of our home, KGV, attract more members and offer more hospitality and merchandise. All of this is directed towards building our community football engagement. Our club exists to provide players, young and old, a chance to engage in community football as well as provide a pathway to higher level competitions, VFL, VFLW, AFL and AFLW.

Our club also exists to provide people with a chance to enjoy the social, team building and physical benefits of Aussie Rules plus providing a pathway to other opportunities Australian Rules Football offers such as umpiring, administrative and sporting careers.

MEMBERSHIP

You can renew your membership or join our club by going to the Membership Page HERE. You could also drop into the club and collect your Membership Package (which contains a free club Calendar and Bumper Stickers) then fill in the form and make payment at the club.

Come and join us in 2025 which will be a super exciting year at the Nest.

If you renew OR join by 22nd January, you will automatically go into the draw to win $500 cash.
